 The large room was empty of life except for a bearded man who sat at a desk in the center. Candles dripped wax upon his paperwork, and a quill sat idly in his chubby hand.
He stared at the stone walls covered in finely crafted tapestries and paintings as if he looked through them. His left hand pushed and pulled on his black beard which hid his chins as he occasionally let forth a low, grumbling sound from his throat.
"Bleh, he'll not like that," he said to the walls.
"Have to consider the circumstances... yes," he said.
"The robberies of late and the people... Yes, the people... They want... no... They NEED something more... Something to bring them together... Some sort of hope... and some sort of social occasion... HEROES!" His fist slammed down on the desk and two candles fell.
As he quickly put out the flames before they burned his writings, he cursed and giggled.
"He'll love the idea!" he said as he danced in his chair and quickly began scribbling upon the paper on his desk before him.
"Father?" said a youthful and feminine voice from beyond the stone door.
"Not now, dear! Don't you know I'm busy!?!?" said the chubby man at the desk who abruptly stopped his jumping about in his chair while attempting to write.
"Now, where was I?... Oh, yes!" he said as he quickly pushed the quill back to his paper and began to grin again.
"I have an utmost urgent request to better the spirits of all our good citizens... Yes... That's good," he said as he wrote.
"And reason to call forth the strongest and most daring Knights of all the Lands..."
